Alyson Avenue is a now-defunct Swedish classic rock band. Its musical style is described as "AOR". The band released two albums: Presence of Mind and Omega.
On 24 May 2007 their lead singer, Anette Blyckert (She used her married name with this band), was officially announced as the new singer in Nightwish. Blyckert's (Olzon) departure dissolved the band, and its members went on to other projects. Members of Alyson Avenue have continued making music in the new band Sapphire. Sapphire's lead singer is Thomas Bursell, who was previously the lead singer of Second Heat.
